Hillary Clinton is an old woman. Not that seventy is old by today’s standards, but she’s an old seventy. The stories of her condition are legion. Her eyes are failing, she worries constantly about falling, is prone to sudden seizures, overdrinking, and if the prescription cocktail she’s on isn’t just right, both memory and mood can quickly devolve into periods of volatile dementia.
None of that is stopping her from demanding a third run at being President though.
Hillary wants it. She wants it bad.
The Clinton Machine is still largely in place and attempting to influence present and future political fundraising efforts – though it remains a distant second to the Obama/Jarrett/Holder triple-headed DNC-controlling beast. (Something which Hillary and Bill are said to be increasingly agitated about.)
The Establishment Media will still give her face time whenever requested, though, and so Mrs. Clinton remains working under the self-belief that she remains not only relevant but a political force to be reckoned with, similar to what Nancy Pelosi is doing in Congress. Old, white, and radical is largely the one-color tapestry that is the Democrat Party in D.C. these days where open borders, promises of yet more free stuff, attacking traditional values, and constant tantrums pass for leadership.
Hillary would be nearly seventy-four should she run for President again. Nobody close to her is said to have the guts to tell her she’s too old. That discussion isn’t allowed unless it’s to discuss Joe Biden’s seventy-five years. It’s believed Biden now regrets not running in 2016 and is seriously considering doing so in 2020 when he would be seventy-nine which has made the subject of Biden a sore subject with Hillary Clinton who rumors say has taken to calling him “F*cking Joe.” Biden’s response has been to tell others (increasingly often) what a horrible candidate Hillary was in 2016. “She’s horrible. Just too unlikeable, man. She doesn’t have it. Never did. Never will.”
The primary reason for this increasing tension between Hillary and the former Vice President is one that remains all-important to the Clintons – money. The big money has stepped back from Hillary and (somewhat) toward Biden. Hillary blames Obama for this. She’s right to.
Word is Barack Obama is the one who gave Joe the nod to go ahead and consider a 2020 run with the caveat that Joe’s Vice President would be someone of Obama and Jarrett’s approval. This approval, for now, is coming in the form of names like Kamala Harris and Eric Holder. (Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe is on the outside looking in as he tries to balance loyalties to the Clintons with political ambition he knows will require the approval of the Obama Machine.)
Obama wants a Democrat Party to be less old and less white. That would require some house cleaning to remove the likes of Nancy Pelosi and others. (See: Dianne Feinstein)
“Governor McAuliffe is trying to convince Obama that he’s willing to be as far left of a president as Obama wants him to be. Immigration, guns, single payer, cutting military and growing the welfare system, McAuliffe is all-in if it means getting Obama’s approval,” says a longtime D.C. insider. “Obama’s plan is to dispatch Trump in 2020 and continue on from there with a third term to finish his transformation of America. He’s certain that will happen – 100%.”
In the meantime, Hillary Clinton will continue to call in media favors, snipe at Obama’s continued influence, repeat the lie that it was Russia who beat her in 2016 and not Trump, and believe that she deserves more than anyone else to be living in the White House after 2020.
