It’s The Trump Super Bowl: Patriots Owner Thanks POTUS For Putting America First.

Donald Trump is President of the United States and the New England Patriots are perhaps the single most dominant franchise in NFL history. Both have done a remarkable amount of winning over the last two decades and both have a long and supportive history of each other. This week, just days before his team enjoys yet another Super Bowl appearance, Patriots owner Robert Kraft praised President Trump for, “working very hard to serve the best interests of the country.” Trump in turn has been quite vocal regarding his hopes that the Patriots defeat the Los Angeles Rams this Super Bowl Sunday.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft praised President Trump during an interview Friday on “Fox & Friends,” saying he was “working very hard to serve the best interests of the country.”

Kraft, who has a long friendship with Trump, said he was glad to have the president’s support in the upcoming Super Bowl because “we can use every fan who wants to support us.”

Kraft previously told “Fox & Friends” that Trump helped him in his “toughest time,” the 2011 death of his wife, Myra Kraft.

“He’s been great to me over these last two decades,” Kraft said last February.

Kraft also met with the president at Trump Tower shortly after his election victory.

He did somewhat break with the president over the issue of players kneeling during the national anthem.

After Trump called for kneeling players to be fired in 2017, Kraft wrote in a statement that he was “disappointed” by the president’s tone.

“I am proud to be associated with so many players who make such tremendous contributions in positively impacting our communities,” Kraft said at the time.

CBS Boston reported, however, that all Patriots players would stand for the “Star Spangled Banner” before the game following Trump’s remarks about players being fired.

The Patriots will play against the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
