Paul Ryan Will No Longer Talk To The Little People Of His District

House Speaker Paul Ryan isn’t saying much these days – at least not in person to the voters of his own congressional district. The reason cited is fear of protesters, though, more than a few feel the most powerful member of Congress is simply ducking his unhappy constituency as he continues to play footsy with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as both men stall the Trump agenda in favor of protecting the remnants of Obama-era policies including Obamacare.

The Speaker’s office told media Mr. Ryan had just conducted a town-hall style meeting in Wisconsin. The problem? The public wasn’t allowed to attend. Yes, you read that right. It was a town hall without the town – a closed door stop at a factory where only invited guests were allowed in. If security was an issue given the recent shooting of Republicans by a crazed far left activist, then why not openly admit that as the reason? Call out the Democrats and the Mainstream Media for creating such a divisive and now dangerous political environment. Go to war against their litany of abuses.

Speaker Ryan seems to fear offending his Democrat and media cohorts, though. He won’t do that. Just as he won’t meet with the very people he is supposed to represent.

That’s Republican “leadership” version 2017.
