It is now the rant heard ’round the world. ABC sitcom star and comedy legend Roseanne Barr said, among other things, the following:
Predictably the social media storm that followed is calling for a boycott/cancellation of her hit ABC reboot, claiming Barr is a racist. (Update: ABC/Disney were quick to comply with the social media outrage – the Roseanne show has been canceled)
Barr apologized for the tweet, indicating it was about Valerie Jarrett’s politics (and Jarrett’s affiliation with the racist/bigoted and terror-linked Muslim Brotherhood)
Presently Barr’s explanation is falling on many deaf ears. She was a marked woman long before the this latest Twitter scandal – having come out in support of Donald Trump which in Hollywood is often career suicide where all are expected to fall in line and practice fully devoted groupthink that pushes globalist ideals while demonizing traditional American values.
Were Barr’s words actually racist or as she claims merely an opinion on Valerie Jarrett’s long-controversial political views/affiliations? Who knows. At this point it doesn’t matter. The ideological (and uneducated) mob is on the move and she currently is its #1 target.
If any fair assessment of the situation is to take place (and it likely won’t because that would actually require some thought and learning – things social media makes no time for) millions would now be asking “Who or what is the Muslim Brotherhood?”
The simple answer would be this: The Muslim Brotherhood is an organization a number of U.S. allies have classified as a terrorist group that has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel, condemns homosexuality, supports and funds suicide bombings against American soldiers, and considers women as the property of the men they are to serve and obey. (See Here ) A 2013 New York Times article outlined how the Muslim Brotherhood was offended by a proposed U.N. condemnation of violence against women. The reason? It offended “cultural norms” of Muslim-dominated Arab and African nations.
So, with that known, it certainly seems odd that Valerie Jarrett and Barack Obama were so eager to work with the Muslim Brotherhood. The long record of that relationship is undeniable. This is but one of many articles on the subject:
U.K. Condemns Muslim Brotherhood, While White House Hosts It
Weird, huh? Why in the world was the Obama administration holding hands with a global terror group that openly opposes the rights of women, gays, and all non-Muslims? Pushing homosexuals from rooftops? Members of the Muslim Brotherhood applaud. Beating wives and daughters? The Muslim Brotherhood defends it as “normal.”
The Obama White House under the direction of Valerie Jarrett embraced the Muslim Brotherhood. So many liberals who support/supported Barack Obama are unaware of this. Even today they would shake their little ignorant heads and say, “That can’t be true.”
But it is.
How Roseanne Barr chose to say something could be called stupid but that doesn’t negate the fact the Muslim Brotherhood advocates for things most liberals (and all Americans) would be rightfully horrified by. That horror was a part of the Obama administration. Mr. Obama and Ms. Jarrett celebrated and took direction from it. Remember the 2016 Pulse Nightclub shooting that had a Muslim man killing and wounding more than a hundred people inside a gay-friendly nightspot in Orlando Florida? He was linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and that example is legion to what the Muslim Brotherhood has been doing across the globe.
All people should be allowed, so long as they are not harming others, to live as they choose. To be who they want. To love, to laugh, cry, and dream. The Muslim Brotherhood represents the antithesis to that ideal and yet the Obama White House called them friend.
That’s the real story – at least for those willing to pay attention.
