Now Fake News CNN Is Siding With Drug Traffickers Over Border Patrol, ICE, POTUS Trump, Etc…

Goodness gracious will someone over at CNN please return some semblance of sanity to that once-proud news organization?

Just today CNN runs a headline story in which they take the side of drug traffickers regarding the now infamous border wall proposal being pushed by the Trump administration. (It should also be noted most of the Democrat Party is taking the side of the Mexican drug cartel as well on this issue) These sly little drug traffickers are declaring that the wall won’t work. (why would they want it to?) Apparently that’s enough for CNN to craft an anti-Trump story and by default a pro-drug cartel story.

Let that sink in. On a day we find out you’re at greater risk of dying from a opioid overdose (much of it coming in from Mexico) than you are from a car accident, the Establishment Media embraces drug dealers and attacks President Trump.

STAY CLASSY CNN.

Southern Border Violence Far Outpaces Mass Shooting Deaths In U.S. Yet Liberals Say Nothing

Liberals love a good manufactured crisis. Yet, when faced with a real crisis that happens to run counter to their political views, they so often choose to ignore reality and continue to spread media-generated falsehoods.

Case in point—the number of deaths, assaults, and sex crimes, including human trafficking, taking place on America’s southern border dwarfs by many times over the number of deaths attributed to mass shootings. And yet it’s mass shootings that the media covers 24/7 and tens of thousands march against. Where is the coverage of the daily border violence that is so often targeting women and children? Why don’t brown lives matter to these same protestors?

Via Fox News:

Now, in the past two years alone, criminal aliens have been responsible for approximately — look at this number — 235,000 violations of the law, including 4,000 homicides, 30,000 sex crimes and — get this — over 100,000 violent assaults. In just 2018, 17,000 individuals with criminal records were apprehended at the border.

And the crisis goes much, much deeper. In towns and cities all across the country, we know about the opioid crisis, 300 Americans are killed every single week from heroin; 90 percent of that heroin is flooding across our southern border. That death toll, by the way, is equal to — think about this — the number of American troops killed every week in Vietnam during the year 1968. That was the war’s deadliest year.

For us and most Americans, this is not a political game. We are seeing this is as about life and death. This is about innocent, brave, law-abiding Americans and legal immigrants literally dying because our borders are not secure.

—————

4000 homicides in just the last two years. Want to know how many mass shooting deaths there have been in the United States since 1966? 1135. That averages out to 22 deaths per year for mass shootings vs 2000 per year to violence at the southern border. And then there are all the deaths attributed to the drugs pouring in across that same border. In 2017 alone nearly 16,000 Americans died from a heroin overdose. 90% of all heroine enters the U.S. via Mexico.

So, in just one year, there are some 18,000 deaths attributed to the chaos at the southern border vs 1135 deaths to all mass shootings in America since 1966.

Which one does the Establishment Media spend so much time covering? School shootings are their particularly favorite in this grossly misleading endeavor and that coverage is particularly immoral given how many more school students die from drug overdoses vs gun violence. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, there were more than 4100 drug overdose deaths for people under that age of 24 in 2016. That means that for just that single year alone, drug deaths of young people in the U.S. were roughly 400% MORE than all mass shooting deaths of the last 52 years combined.

Where are CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, etc., reporting these facts to the American people? They choose instead to peddle in lies.

If they are as concerned about the well-being of the nation’s youth as they claim to be via their school shooting coverage, why are they not allocating far more time to overdose deaths which impact many-many more of those same youth? Is it ignorance? Neglect? Or could it be something more sinister?

The above facts (not the manufactured manipulations repeatedly spread by the Establishment Media) make clear there is (and has been for some time) a crisis on the southern border that is harming the lives of tens of thousands each and every year, from U.S. citizens, to migrants, to law enforcement officials, the cost of doing nothing is appallingly high.

President Trump is right to make this such a critical issue for our government. The well-being of so many depends upon the improved safety and security of our southern border. When human lives are at stake, including the lives of children, this is no time for divisive politics and do-nothing obstructionism on the part of Democrats and their media-cohorts.

We deserve better.

Oval Office Showdown As POTUS Trump Clashes With Pelosi & Schumer Over Border Security Funding

An increasingly agitated and nervous Chuck Schumer didn’t like the cameras rolling as President Trump admonished both him and Nancy Pelosi for their unwillingness to fully fund America’s need for border security. When Senator Schumer asked that the discussion move away from the media, the president’s voice rose even louder as he declared he was willing to shut down the federal government if border security funding wasn’t included in the upcoming budget. “If we don’t have border security, we’ll shut down the government,” Trump said.

Trump, Pelosi and Schumer get into a heated Oval Office fight over border wall and shutdown

President Donald Trump’s meeting with Democratic congressional leaders Tuesday turned into an argument before it really began, as the president said he would be “proud” to shut down parts of the government over his proposed border wall.

At the start of a meeting among the leaders, Trump repeatedly touted his proposed border wall, one of his top political promises. He seeks $5 billion to fund it in a year-end spending package, a demand Democrats do not want to meet. He repeatedly claimed large portions of the wall have already been built, though Congress has only passed funds to construct new or repair existing fences.

Trump asked Pelosi to speak, when she said “the American people recognize we must keep the government open” and warned of a “Trump shutdown.” When Pelosi turned the topic to the vote counts needed to fund the government in Congress, the conversation devolved into an argument.

“No, we don’t have the votes, Nancy,” Trump shot at the California Democrat. “I can’t get it passed in the House if it’s not going to pass the Senate,” he added, referencing his inability to get Senate Democratic votes for his immigration priorities.

Democrats are walking the far more precarious political tight line here. While segments of the population support anti-border security policies, polling indicates a majority across the country, including large segments of minority communities, side with President Trump and his view we must secure the border now. And each time another human caravan attempts to push its way into the country’s southern border, more and more Americans demand border security.

Today’s meeting between the president and Senator Schumer and Congresswoman Pelosi was a clear warning shot across the bow of congressional leaders that a government shutdown is far more likely than not should they refuse to adequately fund a safe and secure U.S. border.

This is going to get very interesting very soon.

Chief Justice John Roberts Rebukes President Trump Over Border Security Policy

Chief Justice John Roberts, a George W. Bush appointee who then later sided with President Obama’s highly controversial/illegal Obamacare mandate, took time to give a very rare public rebuke of a sitting president this week when he admonished President Trump for dismissing a left-leaning judge who just ruled against the president’s illegal immigrant asylum policy as an “Obama judge.” Roberts wants Americans to believe the judicial system is not politically biased. Yeah, right…

John Roberts

Via Associated Press:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Chief Justice John Roberts is pushing back against President Donald Trump for his description of a judge who ruled against Trump’s migrant asylum policy as an “Obama judge.”

It’s the first time the Republican-appointed leader of the federal judiciary has offered even a hint of criticism of Trump, who has previously blasted federal judges who ruled against him.

Roberts said Wednesday the U.S. doesn’t have “Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges.” He commented in a statement released by the Supreme Court after a query by The Associated Press.

—————–

It’s a highly unusual move for Chief Justice Roberts, one that liberals hope signals he is prepared to rule against the Trump administration in the future. Given Justice Roberts’s dubious distinction as being the justice who kept Obamacare intact, that hope might sadly prove accurate.

Time will tell but it’s likely Roberts has just made the president’s naughty list this holiday season especially given the thousands of would-be illegals who are attempting at this very moment to invade America’s southern border in what more and more believe is a test-run for future invasions of even greater size.

Take A Look At This Picture And Decide For Yourself If America’s Priorities Are Out Of Whack

America is a caring and sympathetic nation. Imperfect? Yes. Sometimes deeply flawed? Certainly. That said, sometimes that caring and sympathy do appear to favor some over others, most notably where political benefit for certain benefit-seeking/divisive politicians are concerned. There is nothing wrong with taking care of those in need so long as we also take care of our own. Look at the below photo and decide for yourself if we are doing a good enough job of that these days.

Now Republicans Are Running Away From Border Security Promise

These Republicans. Has there ever been a more disloyal, spineless, leaderless bunch? The Democrats are insane of course – but at least they are fully devoted to their own madness. Republicans prefer a more two-faced approach, promising many things while doing none of them.

The latest exhibit to be added to the long list of Republican broken promises is border security. Republicans are now running from the Trump “build that wall” promise that was critical in his winning the 2016 Election. So many Republicans are failing to follow up on this promise (they’ve been making it to voters for more than three decades) that an open floor vote might prove disastrous. Instead, a bit of cash will be thrown at the problem, a few miles of new fence, and tens of millions of dollars devoted to further “study.”

Check out this excerpt from a recent Politico report:

“House Republicans are poised to fund $1.6 billion for President Donald Trump’s border wall through a procedural maneuver designed to avoid a floor vote that might fail.

Border wall skeptics like Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a moderate Republican from a majority-Hispanic district in Florida’s Miami-Dade County, are well aware that they’re being bypassed. “I’m not OK [with it], but it is what it is,” Ros-Lehtinen told POLITICO in an interview. “We hope that it will be dealt with later on, but it looks like it’s going to be included in the package.” Perhaps, she said, it will set the table for a broader deal on immigration reform.

The amendment under consideration by the Rules Committee was drafted by Rep. John Carter, a Texas Republican and chairman of the Appropriations Committee’s Homeland Security Subcommittee. The measure would fund 60 miles of new fence and levee wall in south Texas and 14 miles of secondary fence in the San Diego area, and would earmark roughly $40 million toward planning for additional border wall construction.”

Within the context of a multi-trillion dollar budget, $1.6 billion is a ludicrous amount. In fact, it’s about half of what the government spends on vacations for federal employees. Republicans are merely attempting to pretend to do something about border security while in fact doing almost nothing.

It is phony posturing like this that has so many voters so frustrated.

It’s also why Donald Trump was elected POTUS.

We want our country back.

America needs a change.
