POTUS Trump’s Firing Of Tom Price Just Another Battle In Trump’s Ongoing War Against “Swamp Disease”

D.C. has been suffering “Swamp Disease” for a very long time and it’s been slowly killing the host – The United States, without pause and without challenge. Until now.

Upon hearing of HHS Secretary Tom Price’s taxpayer funded private air travel abuses the President’s decision was swift: “YOU’RE FIRED.” Price was sent packing as he was guilty of “Swamp Disease” something this current president has little patience for. (It’s also a big reason why POTUS Trump is so despised in D.C. – he threatens the longtime gravy train.)

That firing is but one small battle in an ongoing war, though. It’s a war many believe Trump can’t win. They might be right, but for now, POTUS doesn’t appear to be giving up just yet. Let’s hope he continues to fight.

Ned Ryun put it this way:

…2016 was really about the American working class waking up to the fact that our system of government — supposedly of the people, by the people and for the people — is not working to benefit them, but rather a small ruling class made up of Republicans, Democrats, and their special interest cronies and corrupt consultants.

As this system devolves, the outcome will be despotism — smiling statism or velvet despotism, but despotism nonetheless. Many of us pay taxes at a rate exceeding 50 percent when federal, state, local, food and gas taxes are combined. Yet many in Washington, D.C. have a mindset of “separate but equal,” in which they feel more entitled and more enlightened than the great unwashed masses out in the hinterlands who fund their pay and egregious behavior.

…Donald Trump ran on draining the swamp, on rejecting the status quo and business as usual. While I presume Price was given the choice to either resign or be fired, I would tell the president this: Tom Price’s (presumably forced) resignation does not guarantee future change. Price’s behavior is merely a symptom of “Swamp Disease.”

What Trump must immediately do, through an Executive Order, is lay down stronger guidelines, standards and practices as to how his Executive Branch and Cabinet members spend taxpayer dollars and government resources. This will not only set the tone for this administration, but will help change the behavior of future administrations. There will be hell to pay for any president who might revoke that order.

In the end, we want public servants, not elected officials, and there is a massive difference between the two. So Mr. President, don’t just address the symptoms of “Swamp Disease.” Cure the disease.

With Comey Gone Trump Has Clear But Dangerous Path To Drain The D.C. Swamp

The James Comey firing is absorbing all of the oxygen in D.C. at the moment. Democrats and their media counterparts are calling the move “Nixonian.” Behind the scenes, though, these same players are nervous. Comey’s departure has cleared a path for something the D.C. Establishment fears most –  a real investigation into its collective wrongdoings.

President Trump now appears poised to begin that process.

Just this week, former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, made two critical revelations while testifying to Congress. The first was that there was zero evidence of any substantive collusion between the then Trump campaign and the Russian government. That statement once again reveals the purposeful hoax of Russian influence that continues to be perpetrated by the Mainstream Media and Democrats.

The second is his admission to the the “unmasking” of private citizens during investigations into the Trump campaign. (Investigations initiated during the Obama presidency and rumored to have been orchestrated directly by Obama operatives.)

The Mainstream Media has largely chosen to ignore both blockbuster revelations. The reason why is simple. Those revelations point to a widespread and highly illegal use and abuse of federal power to influence a presidential election both before and after. In essence, what the Obama administration actually did was what Richard Nixon threatened to do. With Nixon he was forced to resign. For Barack Obama he is being paid $400000 dollars for speeches by the anti-American globalist powers he has long aligned himself with.

If President Trump is to delve further into cleaning up the deep and dark waters of the D.C. swamp he will do so at great risk to himself and his family. Removing Comey was a very important step. His next few steps will prove critical to his success or failure. The entire D.C. machine is working to halt the president’s progress and the millions who support him.
