Earlier in the week MSNBC reported there were just a “smattering” of boos across the league from fans upset with players kneeling and/or staying in the locker room during the playing of the National Anthem.
That reporting was a hoax perpetrated in part by the NFL itself which didn’t want to broadcast just how angry fans truly were over watching millionaire athletes use the platform of a football game to spread a divisive and unpatriotic message to a captive audience.
It wasn’t a “smattering” of boos – it was a downpour.

That was a stadium full of booing fans – hardly a “smattering.” And that was for two teams who linked arms. The outburst from fans who had to witness kneeling or entire teams ignoring the anthem altogether while remaining in the locker rooms was even greater:
