When will these leftists not understand the depth of Donald Trump’s appeal to common-sense Americans? Americans who have little patience for the kind of bullying lies and misrepresentations about a man millions voted for and who will soon be this country’s next president?
Chicago-based GrubHub CEO Matt Maloney has apparently just been given that lesson as his earlier anti-Trump threats to his own employees sent the company’s stock price spiraling that resulted in a quick “clarification” from the CEO that his comments were “misconstrued.”
Misconstrued? Let’s look at the memo he sent to his company’s 1400 employees following Trump’s Election Day victory:
“I absolutely reject the nationalist, anti-immigrant and hateful politics of Donald Trump and will work to shield our community from this movement as best as I can. As we all try to understand what this vote means to us, I want to affirm to anyone on our team that is scared or feels personally exposed, that I (and) everyone else here at Grubhub will fight for your dignity and your right to make a better life for yourself and your family here in the United States.
“If you do not agree with this statement then please reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here. We do not tolerate hateful attitudes on our team.”
Twenty-four hours later the company’s online customer ratings were in full-on decline as was its stock price – down some 5% prior to the anti-Trump memo – equating to an overall value decline of more than 150 million dollars.
No doubt shareholders were none too happy, and Mr. Maloney then scrambled to redefine his own words with this follow-up message:
“I did not ask anyone to resign if they voted for Trump. To the contrary, the message of the email is that we do not tolerate discriminatory activity or hateful commentary in the workplace, and that we will stand up for our employees.”
Let it be known, Americans have had enough of the bullying tactics of the far left and have finally found a public figure in Donald Trump who has declared the Silent Majority need not be silent anymore.
THE AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS IS PUSHING BACK.
The Obama economy is an era of stagnant wages and skyrocketing medical costs which are decimating Middle Class America.
One of the quickest ways to destroy America is to eliminate its middle class.
It appears the Obama era is working double-time to do just that:
“Prices for medicine, doctor appointments and health insurance rose the most last month since 1984…a recent report by Kaiser/HRET Employer Health Benefits forecasts that the average family health care plan will cost $18,142, up 3.4% from 2015. That’s faster than wage growth in America…Premiums on the Obamacare exchanges are expected to rise by double-digits this year.”
In November, voters will have a choice.
Hillary Clinton represents more of the same: Fewer jobs, lower wages, bigger government, higher healthcare costs.
Donald Trump represents something vastly different than the above.
America, it’s almost time to choose.
THIS is the man self-anointed “true conservative” Bill Kristol thinks should run against Donald Trump as a 3rd Party alternative in 2016? Kristol has long been considered to have the intellectual depth of a parking lot puddle, but even by his own limited standards, this kind of advocacy for a man so far outside the mainstream is astonishingly stupid.
Just check out what the man said below…
Weekly Standard editor is now supporting the man on the left, David French, as an alternative 3rd party choice for voters in November. Mr. French is himself a contributor to the another anti-Trump “conservative” magazine, The National Review, and a man who appears to have very little respect for White Middle Class America as you can now read for yourself when French came out in support of the following statement:
“The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible. Forget all your cheap theatrical Bruce Springsteen crap. Forget your sanctimony about struggling Rust Belt factory towns and your conspiracy theories about the wily Orientals stealing our jobs. Forget your goddamned gypsum, and, if he has a problem with that, forget Ed Burke, too. The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isn’t analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change, which means that they need U-Haul.”
Kristol and French are among those who have been the too-long voice of American false conservatism that gave rise to the disaster that is Barack Obama, and now wishes to ensure a similar disaster in the form of Hillary Clinton.
NO THANK YOU.
