BREAKING: Homeland Security Chief Indicates Obama Ordered Surveillance of Trump Tower

OH. MY.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly declared to CNN this afternoon that Donald Trump has “compelling evidence” that then-President Barack Obama ordered the wiretapping of the home of and offices of Donald Trump during the 2016 Election. He also went on to say he didn’t know why Barack Obama would have done so.

Kelly is a retired military general who was confirmed as the new  Secretary of Homeland Security on President’ Trump’s recommendation just a few weeks earlier:

Via CNN:

“If the president of the United States said that, he’s got his reasons to say it,” Kelly said Monday on CNN’s “The Situation Room.” “He’s got some convincing evidence that that took place.”

Kelly didn’t go so far as to say what the evidence was, or if he had personally reviewed it himself. At this point he simply appears content to let the media know he believes it does exist and is supporting President Trump’s claim that his home and offices were bugged by the previous Obama administration in the middle of a presidential election. He also took a swipe at CNN’s claims of having “sources” who are now making claims of what FBI Director James Comey has or hasn’t said regarding the matter.  (As of now, Comey has made no public statement regarding the claimed Obama wire tapping of Trump Tower.)

Given his long history as a no-nonsense and highly decorated military man, and current position as the head of the single largest U.S. government agency, Kelly’s words carry considerable weight.

Obama Administration Was Using Russian Spies To Monitor Trump Campaign?

That was the suggested scenario offered up today by Fox Business contributor, Charlie Gasparino during a segment with Neil Cavuto. (awaiting video)

It is an interesting and plausible premise. The Obama government needs no court approval to monitor communications of foreign agents. One or more Russian operatives who were already being monitored, were then instructed to repeatedly communicate to Trump campaign associates. Those communications could then be monitored and none would require court approval.

Might this scenario be the origination of all the Trump-related “wiretapped” information cited earlier by such publications as the New York Times? (It is believed this was the method used to push General Michael Flynn into resigning his position as Trump National Security Adviser and might also be the same tool used against current Trump Attorney General, Jeff Sessions. Remember, it was the Obama White House that actually set up the first of two meetings between then-Senator Sessions and the Russian ambassador.)

Former Obama S.S. Agent: “Will Be Sharing More On Obama This Week. It’s Time.”

Former Obama Secret Service agent Dan Bongino also indicated the Obama wire tap scandal was going to “blow wide open” this week even as the Mainstream Media attempts to spin in favor of Barack Obama.

OBAMAGATE: “An extraordinary, politically motivated abuse of presidential power.”

That is the description of Obamagate given today by former former assistant U.S. attorney, Andrew McCarthy, a man with years of experience within the inner-workings of the Department of Justice. It’s a scathing rebuke of the Obama Machine’s attempt to deflect blame for its attempted tampering of a then-ongoing 2016 election.

Here are some highlights of Mr. McCarthy’s thoughts on the matter:

“…FISA applications and the evidence garnered from them are classified – i.e., we would not know about any of this unless someone had leaked classified information to the media, a felony.”

(Was the Obama DOJ the source of the attempted anti-Trump leaks?)

“…In any event, the FISA court reportedly turned down the Obama Justice Department’s request, which is notable: The FISA court is notoriously solicitous of government requests to conduct national-security surveillance…”

(Meaning the Obama DOJ’s initial request to wiretap Trump and Trump associates was so broad, so without merit, even the FISA court was unwilling to sign off on it.)

“…given the explosive and controversial nature of the surveillance request we are talking about – an application to wiretap the presidential candidate of the opposition party, and some of his associates, during the heat of the presidential campaign, based on the allegation that the candidate and his associates were acting as Russian agents – it seems to me that there is less than zero chance that could have happened without consultation between the Justice Department and the White House.”

(The Obama denial of having “ordered” the wire tapping is important. It should be noted the Obama camp has not denied such wire tapping took place. It’s merely stating it didn’t order it. That’s correct. The FISA court actually issues the order – which is the result of a DOJ request. Team Obama is playing a word game here, something they did often throughout the eight years of the administration.)

“…that brings us to a related point: FISA national-security investigations are not like criminal investigations. They are more like covert intelligence operations – which presidents personally sign off on.”

(Again, a very important point of distinction. Team Obama denied having ordered the Trump wiretap. It hasn’t denied having approved of the Trump wiretap. See the difference?)

“…it would be a scandal of Watergate dimension if a presidential administration sought to conduct, or did conduct, national-security surveillance against the presidential candidate of the opposition party. Unless there was some powerful evidence that the candidate was actually acting as an agent of a foreign power, such activity would amount to a pretextual use of national-security power for political purposes. That is the kind of abuse that led to Richard Nixon’s resignation in lieu of impeachment.”

(McCarthy is correct. If the Obama administration conducted these wiretaps based upon a flimsy “the Russians” connection, it would be a violation beyond what toppled Nixon. And given the Mainstream Media has been pushing Team Obama’s Russian narrative since the summer, it seems likely it was a plan hatched many months ago both as a means of getting FISA approval, as well as giving the Obama administration an excuse that the wiretaps had to be conducted as a matter of national security.)

“This appears to be extraordinary, politically motivated abuse of presidential power.”

(Indeed it does.)

OBAMAGATE:Trump Wire Tap Ordered After Clinton Met In Secret W/Obama AG On Tarmac

Today (Sunday) Obama operatives were out in full force, as predicted, spinning deflection to a compliant Mainstream Media. The gist of this deflection was that Obama would NEVER (knowingly) order wire taps on a political opponent and that President Trump’s recent accusations regarding that possibility are beyond the pale.

Even as those denials are being voiced, though, an Obamagate timeline is forming.

Late yesterday, reports began to circulate that the source of the Trump wire tap was initiated by former Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch. The same Loretta Lynch who met privately inside a government plane with former President Bill Clinton at the very same time the FBI was investigating then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Via the always-good GATEWAY PUNDIT:

“…We now know that the meeting between Bill Clinton and Attorney General Lynch occurred at about the same time that the Obama administration filed a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers.

The request, uncharacteristically, was denied.

Fast forward to October 2016.  Wikileaks began releasing emails of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, rolling out batches every day until the election, creating new mini-scandals.  These emails were virtually ignored by the mainstream media who were in the bag for Democrat Hillary Clinton but were spread widely by websites that chose to share the truth like this one.

At the same time, The Obama administration submitted a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks.

No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continued, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes.

The Obama administration was monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.”

BREAKING: Trump Meets W/AG Sessions. Obama Wiretapping: “INDICTMENTS”

Various sources have indicated President Trump is meeting this evening in Mara-a-Lago with Attorney General Jeff Sessions to discuss the blockbuster breaking story of former President Barack Obama’s misuse of federal authority to tamper with the 2016 presidential election. Earlier today, intelligence expert Lt. Colonel Tony Schaffer called the revelations a game-changer, and one that might very well lead to indictments against a former president and members of his staff.

What Mr. Obama’s administration allegedly did in wiretapping the home and offices of a presidential candidate was, in the words of Schaffer, something we would have seen from a communist dictatorship. Multiple reports today have already confirmed that wiretapping DID take place. Now it is a matter of finding out who authorized it. If that process finds its way to higher-ups in the former Obama  White House, this could prove to be the single greatest political scandal in American history.

There is little doubt the Obama Machine is circling the wagons and readying for war while its media cohorts are doing all they can to bury the story. Whether or not they are successful is up to you.
