Media Ignores Trump Is WINNING On Trade As Trade Deficit Falls To Nearly Two-Year Low

The shrill cries of “Trade War” grow louder of late even as actual statistics show President Trump is doing exactly what he promised and winning BIG TIME on trade which means more jobs for Americans and fewer jobs being shipped overseas.

U.S. Trade Deficit Hits 19-Month Low Due to Record-High Exports

The United States trade deficit dropped in May to the lowest level in 19 months as exports rose to a record level.
The Department of Commerce announced the May trade deficit — the difference between what America sells and what it buys in foreign markets — decreased 6.6 percent to $43.1 billion — the smallest imbalance since October 2016.

Exports climbed 1.9 percent to a record $215.3 billion. Imports were up a smaller 0.4 percent to $258.4 billion.

American employers kept up a strong hiring pace in June by adding 213,000 jobs in a sign of confidence of President Donald Trump’s economic policies.

Trump Stares Down World Over Anti-American Trade Agreements – And The World Is Blinking

“Hold the line.”

So went the order from POTUS Trump to his administration as China and the EU coordinate some retaliatory tariffs on American-made goods. Mr. Trump is not backing off, though, confident the strong U.S. economy that he has helped to create can now withstand the trade tantrums of nations that have been taking advantage of the United States for far too long.

This morning the European Union announced $3.5 billion in new U.S. goods tariffs – a move sources indicate was the direct result of Chinese pressure for them to do so. President Trump is shrugging off the measure and moving forward with $34 billion in tariffs against China and now threatening to enact further tariffs on the EU.

A longtime D.C. Congressional staffer put it this way:

“It’s a dick swinging contest and right now Trump has the much bigger stick. He’s knocking down buildings with it. It’s not even close. The Chinese economy isn’t nearly as strong as it was ten years ago, and the EU is always one big crisis away from collapse. Trump built up the America economy and is now pushing hard on the trade issue at exactly the right time. We can sustain a full-on trade war if we need to. The world knows that. They don’t like it, but they know it. There’ll be more tit for tat over the summer but sooner rather than later they’ll be coming to the table and the entire trade blueprint is going to be rewritten in America’s favor. You just watch. The president is staring down the world and the world is blinking. Anyone who says Donald Trump is anything less than brilliant needs to put their head right back up there own ass and shut it because they have no idea what they’re talking about. Trump is proving his intelligence every day on the job. The reason he’s making so many enemies is because everything he’s doing is America-first and they can’t stand that. They hate America. They want to see it punished. Liberals love self-abuse. Always have. Always will.”

Trump Is Already Winning The Trade War Against China

Donald Trump stared down China’s President Xi Jinping – and China blinked.

This week President Xi made several concessions regarding the trade imbalance it has long enjoyed with the United States while making strong hints that more concessions are soon to follow. This pro-America victory is in stark contrast to the bowing and pleading posture that took place during the previous four administrations of Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Bush Sr.

The Establishment Media is largely ignoring the America-First victory. That means it’s up to all of you to get the message out there.

Via StraitsTimes:

“…Mr. Xi highlighted areas where China was willing to give, including pledging to ease restrictions on imported cars by the end of the year as well as repeating open-ended promises to give foreigners greater access to the country’s financial markets – promises officials have made in the past.

He also pledged to strengthen intellectual property rights, addressing one of Mr. Trump’s main complaints.

“…Chinese officials have said they want to avoid a trade war and negotiate.

On Tuesday, Mr. Xi appeared to have given Mr. Trump a concession by pledging to “significantly” lower tariffs on imported automobiles by the end of the year.

Just hours before, Mr. Trump had taken to Twitter to complain about China’s 25 percent tax on imported automobiles.”

While it is true Mr. Xi has made head-fake trade promises in the past there is an urgency and quick-to-comply tone that has been missing before. That change in tone is due to one thing – the aggressively pro-American stance of President Donald Trump who appears more than willing take on short-term political pain for longer term economic gain that will directly benefit the American Working Class.

It has been a very long time since a U.S. President has been willing to fight so hard for the people who got them elected.

Trump is the exception and the Chinese appear to realize that.

Trump Forging Huge Victories For America On Trade While Media Ignores Them

Those who only watch Establishment-approved media will have no idea the remarkable recent victories the Trump administration has forged on trade. These victories are likely to pay huge dividends in creating and keeping jobs in the United States and improving the lives of millions of Working Class Americans.

After signaling a willingness to actually impose trade tariffs on certain nations that enjoy a vast trade imbalance with the U.S., South Korea quickly capitulated and promised to reduce long-standing trade barriers to American-made products. The first to benefit will likely be American-based auto manufacturers. That will mean more jobs for areas like  Detroit – jobs Donald Trump promised and is now delivering.

China, which initially bristled at Mr. Trump’s tariffs, is said to be privately pleading with Trump administration officials to find common ground. This is the very response the President promised would happen. He has forced the Chinese to the negotiating table from which a far better, pro-American trade agreement will be produced. Again, that means more jobs here at home.

That said, China is a big gamble for Mr. Trump. If the Chinese dig in and a true trade war ensues, it will damage both nations and the media will pounce on Trump for having failed to deliver a better trade deal. The President remains confident while the Chinese appear increasingly unwilling to see a trade war materialize.

It’s a remarkable show of negotiating skill by Mr. Trump, though, one the Establishment Media continues to refuse to give him credit for.

Perhaps the voters will be the ones to do so in 2020.

Defiant Trump Battles Globalists Like No President Before Him

It was the tariff comment heard around the world. Global markets staged a predictable temper tantrum as the Establishment Media spun it all as an American president who continues to go “too far” in his America-first approach when Donald Trump dared to do what he said he will do (for the last three decades) and slap tariffs on those nations who have for too long been abusing the system and costing U.S. jobs.

“Free” trade and open borders are the foundations of the globalist regime. It allows cheap labor, (often under grueling working conditions) and an international corporatist system that increasingly enjoys power beyond that of nations. It is power that is never voted on, so answers to no-one. Everything is bought and paid for – including the politicians who continue to pass the laws that then expand the power of the globalists while lessening the power of the people those politicians pretend to serve.

And then came a billionaire New Yorker who shook his head and said ENOUGH.

Donald Trump pushed past the Republican Establishment and remarkably did the same against the entire political and media establishment in America to win the White House.

Now he sets his sights on the global establishment – an even more difficult and dangerous task.

Over the last thirty years America’s capacity to truly defend itself has lessened considerably because its factories have closed. Its people no longer make things. We peddle in distraction, convenience, and entertainment, but the ability to sustain itself as was done during World War Two has fallen into dangerous disrepair.

We are a country that now spends more time and resources teaching its students about gender identity than how to use a hammer – or a can opener.

Corporations relocate for one simple reason – it’s cheaper to do so. It is cheaper to build a factory in China or India, or Malaysia, or Mexico than it is to keep that factory here in the United States. Why? Because they then have access to very cheap labor, no unions, no healthcare costs, often no environmental regulations (and those that do exist easily go away via bribes to the government) and on and on and on.

True American liberals should be appalled by the above scenario – but they are not. (Too focused on gender identity perhaps?) Globalization is raping the environment and the people of those nations whose labor is being used to do so.

Donald Trump’s message cuts across political lines. It’s common sense. Create an America that helps to create jobs for Americans. Doing so then expands the tax base to afford things like better healthcare access, a cleaner environment, more opportunity, greater sustainability, and an overall improved quality of life that can be passed from one generation to the next.

Because he threatens the status-quo, Mr. Trump has been vilified to the extreme. At every turn, he faces opposition and mockery by those who have been lining their pockets under the globalist regime for a very long time. (Consider this: the Clintons left the White House in 2001 owing money. Seventeen years later they are worth an estimated $60-$100 million dollars. How does that happen? Simple. They became very willing mouthpieces of the globalist agenda. Their wealth was payment for a job well done. Barack Obama is doing the same thing but possibly on an even greater scale. His wealth already sits at nearly $20 million dollars just a year removed from the White House – a 20x increase from before he became President and within just the next five years he will likely be pushing $100 million. Not bad for a politician who spent years speaking out against “the wealthy.” )

Donald Trump is now shrugging off the mountain of criticism he is receiving for his steel and aluminum tariff plan. He is convinced no nation on earth can win a trade war with the United States and soon it will result in a much better trade environment that will put American workers first instead of the pockets of the globalists.

This will only escalate the war against him of course. Watch for Mueller to double his efforts the President’s family and business interests. That shoe is said to be scheduled to drop within the next few weeks.

It has been said before but is worth repeating: No leader of America’s modern era has personally risked so much to try and help so many as Donald Trump has.

Immediately After Trump Visit China Opens Markets To American Products.

The media did all it could to spin the POTUS Trump trip to Asia as a negative when in reality it was quite possibly among the most economically productive overseas trips in the history of the presidency which will help to create thousands of jobs here in the United States.

Check out this report via Investor’s Business Daily:

…despite the media snark, the trip was a big success from Trump’s perspective, especially on trade. While Trump was conferring with Chinese President Xi Jinping, U.S. companies announced some $250 billion in deals with China — a clear sign China wants to open its markets even more.
A more recent example was China’s decision, announced on Thanksgiving, to slash import taxes on some 187 consumer goods. As Bloomberg News correctly noted, this move “promises to boost the prospects of multinationals in the Chinese market,” in particular big U.S. consumer multinationals like Procter & Gamble Co. and medicine-maker Pfizer.

The above is what Mr. Trump meant when he called for “fair trade” over “free trade” and is yet another example of him doing exactly what he promised he would do. And as he delivers on improving the decades-long trade imbalance with China POTUS Trump has nearly wiped out ISIS, raised working class wages by 4% in just one year, reduced unemployment, cut thousands of pages of regulations, reduced the size of the federal government, appointed Constitution-minded judges, and is now set to make Congress actually pass some measure of tax cuts/reforms.

By any measure this president is notching up some very impressive victories even as the Establishment Media says otherwise.
