Annette Harris is another small business owner has had enough of these government mandated lockdown orders and is moving forward with re-opening what was among the most popular eateries in her Cullman, Alabama neighborhood. This is yet another sign of a growing trend all across America of people pushing back against local and state government overreach.
No word yet on how Cullman officials will respond but one thing is certain – lots of people are paying attention and more than a few are looking forward to once again sitting down for a meal outside of their homes.
“We are hurting,” Harris said of small business owners and employees. “I just hope people will understand why I’m doing this. These are our businesses. They don’t belong to the government.”
