This sure won’t help to stop the “Schifty-Schiff” jokes that now follow Congressman Adam Schiff around wherever he goes.
Intel Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson testified for 8 hours before Congressman Schiff’s impeachment inquiry committee but to date, Schiff has blocked any attempts at sharing even a redacted version of that testimony. Now, for the first time, another member of Congress is going public with the reasons why.
This comment on the subject of Schiff’s apparent cover-up comes from Texas Congressman John Ratcliffe:
“It’s because I asked IG Atkinson about his “investigation” into the contacts between Schiff’s staff and the person who later became the whistleblower. The transcript is classified “secret” so Schiff can prevent you from seeing the answers to my questions.”
Schiff isn’t concerned about the actual identity of the “whistleblower” so much as he’s concerned with trying to keep the link between the whistleblower and himself hidden from public view as it exposes yet more of Schiff’s lies regarding the origins of the whistleblower complaint and the alleged collusion between the Democrat leadership and the initial complaint against President Trump.
In short, it further exposes the hoax that has been the entire “impeachment inquiry” that Democrats were hoping to convince enough Americans to support removing President Trump from office (even though he did nothing wrong) because these same Democrats are growing increasingly fearful that the American voters will choose to re-elect the president in 2020.
Now, after the impeachment hoax has failed so badly, not only might voters re-elect President Trump, but they might also kick out the majority of Democrats from Congress and return it fully to the Republicans. Nancy Pelosi would be the first member of Congress to lose the Speakership twice and as for Adam Schiff, he would likely be relegated to Congress’s Hall of Infamy for all time.
