It was a statement sadly ignored by some understandably frustrated Trump supporters who have long waited for justice, but that makes the statement from Attorney General William Barr no less impressive and, if you are among those Deep State operatives he is referring to, very concerning that an indictment is coming.
Those frustrated Trump supporters would do well to step back a moment and understand that A.G. Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham are doing the opposite of the clown-show Democrat impeachment hoax. This is a deliberative investigation covering all the bases so as to better ensure there will be no escape for those who will ultimately face a judge and jury. They had to wait for the much more limited in scope I.G. report before preparing to release the U.S. Attorney Durham’s findings. (current whispers suggests early 2020)
Rest assured, indictments ARE coming. Barr’s statement today should alleviate any and all concerns regarding that. If you haven’t yet read it, please do so now below and please note the direct use of the term “malfeasance” and after reading A.G. Barr’s statement go on to read U.S. Attorney John Durham’s public statement at the very bottom of this page:
“Intentional conduct that is wrongful or unlawful, especially by officials or public employees. Malfeasance is at a higher level of wrongdoing than nonfeasance (failure to act where there was a duty to act) or misfeasance (conduct that is lawful but inappropriate)”
“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”
